MScCH: Occupational Health Care (OHC)

The MScCH in Occupational Health Care (OHC) provides academic training in occupational health for health care professionals working in the field of occupational health. The program is intended for physicians practicing occupational medicine but it may also be taken by nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and other health care professionals working in occupational health.

Required Courses (3.5 FCE)

HAD5010H Canada's Health Care System and Health Policy (0.5)
CHL5904H Perspectives in Occupational Health and Safety-Legal and Social Context (0.5)
CHL5905H Advanced Clinical Studies in Occupational Medicine (0.5)
CHL5910H Occupational and Environmental Hygiene (0.5)
CHL5912H Industrial Toxicology (0.5)
CHL5690H Required Practicum (0.5)

Elective Courses (1.5 FCE)

Optional Courses Courses in Epidemiology and Biostatistics are recommended (1.0 – 1.5)
CHL5691H Field-specific Optional Practicum (0.5)
