Dalla Lana School of Public Health Self-Study & External Review

The Dalla Lana School of Public Health has undergone a change in leadership over the past summer and to that end, the school will engage in a self-study exercise and external review.  This process involves input from the school’s faculty, students and administrative staff.  Over the coming weeks we will host different sessions to discuss the next steps for the School, focusing on the nature of the planned external academic review, its importance and possible outcomes.

Self studies and external reviews are an important part of the University of Toronto’s regular cycle of quality assurance. The final report of the reviewers and the response of the Dean to the review, are presented to University governance and are made broadly available to faculty, staff, students, alumni and community partners. The review provides guidance for quality improvement and academic planning.
