MSc (Biostatistics Specialization)
Objective:
Graduates will be well-suited to work in a support role in
universities, government departments, hospitals,
pharmaceutical/health corporations and other health agencies such as
cancer research units.
Students may choose between two formats:
- A course only
version of the MSc
This option appeals to most students and meets the needs of
those who intend to pursue a PhD in biostatistics and those who
plan to join the workforce after completing the MSc.
- A thesis version
of the MSc
This option appeals to mature students who are already working
as biostatisticians, and who have a clearly identified research
area they wish to pursue.
